Shanghai Sandmann Foundry Co., Ltd  is a Joint Venture with China and Germany. Former factory is a Shanghai Automobile Foundry Works.(SAFW).It’s a subsidiary company of Shanghai Automobile Industry Corporation(SAIC),

it is located in Anting, Shanghai, nearby Shanghai-Volkswagen.. The foundry is a specialized automotive foundry works with over 20 years history manufacturing various casting for car, heavy-duty truck, tractor and internal combusting engine, now it has the ability of supplying all grades of grey iron, ductile iron, compacted graphite iron and the ability of pattern manufacturing,heat treatment, some car components machining as well. Collaborator is Eisenwerk Bruehl and Hasenclever. EB/HS is specialized automobile foundry works and dealer .It supplys engine cylinder block, cylinder head, crane shaft, flywheel etc.to lots of automobile companies in Europe. The enterprise occupies 160,000 sq meter area with 750 staff members and 200,000,000 RMB fixed capital, total investment 42,000,000 dollar, registered capital 20,000,000dolar.

The enterprise imported lots of advanced foundry equipment, such as three DISAMATIC molding lines , one 1000×800 flasks HWS horizontal parting molding line, three shell molding line, shell molding machine, Sand muller, cold box shooter ,medium frequency induction furnace from Denmark, Germany, America, Spain. With auxiliary equipment, a production capacity of supplying casting for 300,000 vehicles mating all SANTANA casting except cylinder block. The enterprise has very good ability to develop new products. Research Develop Center use UGII and Procast software etc. in the computer, so shorten develop period.
